The Loudmouth Project

Hi, we’re

The Loudmouth Project

The Loudmouth Project is a podcasting company that aims to share stories that inspire, educate and inform.

We believe that storytelling is how we orient and educate ourselves.

We believe sharing our stories creates evolution in ourselves and inspires change in others.

We believe in sharing the microphone with all people, sharing all experiences and all types of stories.

We believe that we’re limited only by our own creativity or work ethic.

about

Our Background

Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Loudmouth Media, Inc. was born after award-winning veteran journalists Amy Donaldson and Jasen Lee saw a need for a deeper, more productive type of political conversation.

As public discussions became more polarized and more vitriolic, they felt compelled to do what they could as journalists to both encourage people to continue seeking diversity in their conversations while maintaining perspective and civility, resisting the trend to reduce each other to political parties or slogans, and instead seek common ground, solutions and a real understanding of those who think and believe differently than we do.

That’s when they created “Voices of Reason” podcast with the help and support of KSLNewsRadio.com.

Two years after creating that podcast, they joined with Jason Comstock, U.S. Military veteran, to create The Loudmouth Project, a company that would support transformative storytelling and investigative journalism through podcasts.

Our Mission

Our mission statement is simple; Inspiring change through the sharing of stories.

What does this mean?

A story told out loud is the oldest form of media on the planet and sharing experiences through storytelling is part of who we are as a species.

Since the first stories were shared around a tribal fire they have influenced change in individuals and communities.

Change can be as broad as global policy or as personal as softening one’s opinion of an old foe but the common agent of change is a new perspective.
